SAPI photo contest will reward visual talent in Venezuela

Talent, identity and national resilience will come together in the photo contest “The gift of being Venezuelan: a portrait of what is ours”, an initiative promoted by the Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI) on the occasion of World Photography Day. The event, framed in the actions of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela My Beloved Homeland promoted by President Delcy Rodríguez, will be open until October 19 to highlight the daily life and values of Venezuelan society.

It should be noted that this space seeks to turn the participants' eyes into a graphic testimony of the country, while reaffirming the State's commitment to the protection of copyright and visual creators. Interested visual creators and artists must submit an original work in digital format (.jpg), with a minimum size of 1500×2300 pixels, resolution of at least 200 p.p.p. and a maximum weight of 10 megabytes.

In addition, the committee composed of the general director of SAPI, Hendrick Perdomo, the National Directorate of Copyright and a photographic specialist will select the 15 images that best reflect the theme of the competition, then they will be awarded the awards corresponding to first, second and third place.
