Scientific hotbed brought more than 280 young Falconians closer to various areas of knowledge

With the participation of 280 students from the first to the third year, the Juana Manaure de García National High School, located in the state of Falcón, was the scene of the 28th deployment of the Territorialization Plan of the National Scientific Semilleros Program, an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT).

According to a press release, during the day, young people explored areas such as mathematics, physics, computing, health sciences, production, microscopy, astronomy, chemistry and robotics, guided by a team of facilitators from the organizing institutions. At the close, an instrument was applied to identify the areas of greatest interest and guide future activities.

The representative of Fundacite Falcón, Rhona Primera, stressed that this is the program's 28th visit to educational institutions in the state.

The director of the campus, Farah Quiñones, thanked the initiative that “promotes technology and innovation and places young people at the forefront”.

The students expressed enthusiasm for the experience, including Aranza Velazco valued explanations in physics and mathematics, while Ángel Díaz highlighted his interest in health issues.
