Scientific Institutes addressed more than 100 educational institutions in Nueva Esparta in 2025

A total of 106 educational institutions in the state of Nueva Esparta were attended in 2025 by the different initiatives and training cycles promoted by the National Scientific Seed Program, bringing scientific knowledge to children and young people.

With this deployment, more than 11,676 Neo-Spartan students were treated, Vanessa Maldonado, the president of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in Nueva Esparta, said during the presentation of a management balance sheet.

In the report, he noted that the members of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan reviewed 617 teams in different institutions, of which 413 are operational.

Meanwhile, the Scientific-Peasant Alliance facilitated the delivery of seeds to 485 producers in several municipalities in the region.

Fundacite Nueva Esparta also taught 76 courses with the participation of 1,120 students and completed two scientific-technological projects, in addition to carrying out 346 transactions with companies under the Science, Technology and Innovation Act (LOCTI).
