A group of boys and girls from the Larry Salinas National Educational Unit, located in the state of Bolívar, participated in an educational day in which they explored the fascinating world of microscopy and chemistry, while reinforcing their skills in mathematics and science.

The activity, organized by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the region, allowed scientific seedbeds to consolidate their knowledge of basic mathematical operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

During the biology workshop, the children had the opportunity to delve into the universe of microorganisms, observe salt crystals under the microscope and even analyze what ants look like through this device.

In addition, as reported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT) through a press release, with simple experiments, the participants were able to assimilate essential concepts related to matter, mixtures and processes of physical and chemical change.
