The National Scientific Seedbeds Program, promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), maintains the deployment of cutting-edge knowledge and practices in Nueva Esparta to promote scientific learning.
According to a press release, in conjunction with the Center for the Development of Educational Quality, wave pendulums were recently delivered to various institutions with science classrooms in the island region.
Among the beneficiary schools are the Manuel Montaner Salazar Presbyterian Bolivarian Lyceum, in the García municipality; the Miguel Suniaga Bolivarian National Educational Unit and the Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa Bolivarian National Lyceum, in the Díaz municipality, together with the Batalla de Los Barales Educational Unit, in the Tubores municipality.
This fun kit was developed by the National Center for Development and Research in Telecommunications Foundation (CENDIT). The device uses a series of pendulums of varying lengths to create visual effects that help students understand concepts in physics, mathematics, electronics, electromagnetic and telecommunications.
In addition, the Massification Plan was carried out at the José Joaquín de Olmedo Bolivarian National Educational Unit, located in Pampatar, Maneiro municipality. The activity was attended by 201 basic education students, who rotated through five fundamental modules: Fun Science, Marine World, Robotics, Entomology and Astronomy. This format allowed young people to move from theory to practice, encouraging environmental awareness and the development of programming and problem solving skills.
Also, the deployment reached the Bolivarian School Group Br. José Joaquín D Leon in Porlamar, Mariño municipality. This day was attended by 115 first grade students, from basic education, who explored experiments on chemical reactions in the Fun Science module and learned about robotics prototypes, to get started in the world of programming with Follow Lines robots.
This day culminated by linking innovation with national identity, where boys and girls analyzed the life of Simon Bolivar and the importance of education in the formation of their ideals of freedom.
