The Venezuelan Football League (Liga Futve) announced that the 2026 Season of the Second Division will have some modifications to its dispute format.

Through a joint resolution between the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) and the FUTVE League, it was announced that the way they qualified for the Final Phase was modified: The four best placed in the Central Western Group will continue with their place and the three best placed years in the Eastern Group will also advance directly.
