Through his Telegram channel, the general
secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America
- Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, rejected the statements
of former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, who called for military intervention in Venezuela.
“If in Venezuela a national leader
were to ask for military intervention against any country in the world, the
institutions would act immediately,” he said, describing what the former Colombian president commits as a serious
crime.
He also reaffirmed that Uribe not only jeopardizes peace in Venezuela, but also in Colombia.
“It is a serious crime that, in addition to being a neighboring country, endangers the peace and stability of Colombia itself,” he said.
