Sector Vice President Cabello: URRA deployments have undoubtedly been effective and efficient

This Monday, August 25, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, offered a preview of the operations being carried out by the State security forces, where he especially highlighted the work carried out by the Rapid Combat Reaction Units (URRA) deployed throughout the territory to maintain peace and stability of the Homeland.

He emphasized that the URRA are deployed throughout the country to respond quickly to any situation that arises; they are also equipped depending on the task that corresponds to them, in order to guarantee the peace and security of Venezuelans.

“That, undoubtedly, has been effective and has undoubtedly been efficient, when you hear that there is a URRA, it is a combat care unit to respond quickly to any eventuality, we have deployment in various parts of our country as ordered by the President of the Republic, with the operational control of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces ,” he said.

In this regard, he specified that, thanks to these units and to the information of our people, in addition to the joint work of the police forces, it has been possible to dismantle criminal groups, as well as the seizure of various weapons, such as the one carried out in the municipality of El Hatillo, Miranda state.

He recalled that these seized weapons and explosives would be used by NARCOBAND, “a criminal alliance that has been trying to impose itself in Venezuela with the sole objective of seizing power, they have been unable to by vote and they seek any way and they don't care about the alliances they have to make with criminals, murderers, terrorists and drug traffickers.”
