Security forces will deploy more than 3,000 patrols and 8,000 motorcycles in Plan República

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, announced this Wednesday that the Republic Plan will deploy more than 3,000 patrols and 8,000 motorcycles from citizen security forces to guarantee public order ahead of the presidential elections of July 28.
“In accordance with the requirements of the Strategic Operational Command, (will be deployed) more than 3,000 patrols, more than 8,000 motorcycles, more than 300 ambulances, more than 100 fire suppression teams, 254 medical posts and other important means for deploying and supporting all these tasks,” he said.
He noted that resolution 072 is activated, which establishes that from Friday at 12 at night until Monday at 12 at night “strict border control of people, suspension of carrying weapons and fire, prohibition of the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages, prohibition of public gatherings and demonstrations and rallies, prohibition of the transfer of heavy machinery, prohibition of the sale of fireworks”.
In addition, a plan was drawn up to support the Strategic Operational Command by the citizen security bodies, “which first of all guarantees the security of the Electoral Power in the deployment of the different quadrants, physical security and patrolling, the security of places of accommodation, control points and adjacencies and protection of routes for observers, special guests and technical personnel, as well as the security of public services, everything that has to do with with base and security radio stations and strategic facilities, as established by the Republic Plan and the Strategic Operational Command”.
