Security officials deploy to ensure peace at carnival celebration in Zulia

More than nine thousand security officers will be deployed in the state of Zulia to ensure the protection of the town and the seasonal workers during the carnival festivities.

In the Vereda del Lago park, the governor, Luis Caldera, explained that “after this deployment, 9,800 civil servants will be distributed throughout the state, including men and women who will be in the 21 municipalities, 109 parishes and 576 communes and communal circuits.”

The plan has a fleet of 680 units including patrols, motorcycles, boats and ambulances, among other devices, all with the objective of providing the best of vacations for the entity's own and visitors.
