Sediment removal efforts in the Tacagua River are progressing in La Guaira

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT), reported this Tuesday, July 7, that its technical teams are making progress in the work of removing sediments in the Tacagua River, located in Catia La Mar, La Guaira state.

Through its Telegram channel, the entity indicated that this is an important work that “will allow the protection of the La Lucha bridge, located on La Armada Avenue”.

In addition, he stressed that, soon, it will be intervened for maintenance after the impact received by the structure after the seismic double.

The ministry's technical teams are still deployed in the entity, as well as in other states of the country, to deal with the various effects caused by the seismic activities of last June 24.
