Sensory Stimulation and Music Therapy Program began activities in La Guaricha Park

Last Wednesday, January 17, the boys, girls and young people who make up the Sensory Stimulation and Music Therapy Program began their activities at the La Guaricha Zoological Park.
According to a press release, in this program promoted by the mayor of the Maturín municipality, Ana Fuentes, the children, together with their parents, representatives and family members, are accompanied by specialist teachers.
In this regard, the director of the Municipal Institute of Parks and Tourism (IMPART), Mariángela Martínez, explained that in this first quarter of the year they will continue to strengthen the comprehensive development of children with special conditions.
“Today we welcome with great joy our boys and girls from the Sensory Stimulation and Music Therapy Program at the facilities of the La Guaricha Zoological Park, with the news that this year, thanks to Mayor Ana Fuentes, the little ones will have an innovative ergonomic park that joins the other activities that are part of the Program,” he said.
In turn, the official reiterated the invitation to all parents with children with special conditions to attend La Guaricha Park from Monday to Friday, during office hours, where they can have the support of professionals specialized in different areas.
