Venezuelan striker Sergio Córdova made his debut as a goal scorer in Major League Soccer (MLS), with the shirt of St. Louis City SC.

The Panther demonstrated its scoring nose by taking advantage of a loose ball inside the rival area. With a quick and accurate reaction, he sent the ball to the back of the nets.

Córdoba has a total of 7 games played in the current 2026 season of the MLS (6 in the league and 1 in the US Open Cup).

Despite the Venezuelan's offensive contribution, St. Louis City SC ended up losing 3-2 to San Jose Earthquakes.

The Venezuelan team is currently ranked 14th in the Western Conference, scoring 6 points after 9 rounds played.
