As part of the thirty-sixth Overseas Training Cruise, the Simon Bolivar Training Ship (BE11) arrived in Dominica.
Through a video posted on the Instagram account of the Ministry of Defense, the lieutenant, Gerardo Rosales, explained that the crew of “our ambassador without borders” began the anchoring maneuvers to begin preparations for the formal entry of the crew to the port of the refrigerated Caribbean island.
The arrival of the BE-11 to Dominica takes place under a deep patriotic spirit to transmit the message of fraternity and peace to the Venezuelan people.
The flagship, renowned for its excellence in naval engineering, stands as a symbol of national honor in the world's seas. Beyond its formative function, the vessel acts as an itinerant ambassador carrying a message of Latin American and Caribbean unity.
With its sails deployed, the “Simon Bolivar” Training Ship reaffirms the firm course of the people it represents and consolidates its mission of naval diplomacy and regional cooperation in every port it visits.
