Simon Bolivar School Ship arrived in Nueva Esparta to honor the Virgin of the Valley

The Simón Bolívar School Ship (BE-11) docked this Thursday, September 3, at the port of Playa Valdez, Mariño municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta, to join the solemn events dedicated to the patron saint of the Venezuelan East, fishermen and the Bolivarian Navy: The Virgin of the Valley

The arrival of the emblematic “Ambassador Without Borders” is one of the most attractive events for residents and seasonal workers during this year's religious and cultural program, framed under the motto “Star of the Sea” and coordinated in conjunction with the regional Executive, the Latest News portal reported.

As is tradition, the flagship boat opened its doors to the public to offer guided tours to citizens.

The agreed schedule of visits for the ship's stay will be developed with the following agenda:

Thursday 3:2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday 4:9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Saturday 5:2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday 6:9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Monday 7:9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Bolivarian Navy sailboat performs the fundamental function of training the cadets of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian Navy, in addition to projecting the country's institutional presence in international ports and strengthening diplomatic and cooperation relations with naval forces of other nations.
