The Society for Mutual Guarantees for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector (SOGATUR) held the workshop “Cost Structure and Business Models”, aimed at tourism students from the National Experimental University of Greater Caracas (UNEXCA), as part of the point and circle policy promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism.

The activity aimed to provide useful tools to mitigate economic risks in the initial and operational stages of academic projects related to the tourism sector.

The facilitator and administrator of material and financial resources, Robert Carrera, stressed that these tools help guide young people towards the efficient management of tourism as a productive activity capable of boosting local economies.

The training day is part of the SOGATUR Itinerant School, a program that advises communities on the formalization of plans, registration processes, banking and entry into the stock market.
