The Communist Party of South Africa (SACP) expressed its support for the Venezuelan people and government, and demanded the withdrawal of all U.S. military forces from the territories bordering the South American country, as well as its full compliance with international laws and regulations.

Last Saturday, the SACP condemned the impunity of North American imperialism for violating the Proclamation of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

In this regard, they have extended a call to all peoples of the world to reject the war policy of the United States (USA) and to work for peace and solidarity.

The statement condemns the validity of the Monroe Doctrine among the upper circles of power in the White House, which is used as a political basis for the transgression of international law and the right to sovereignty of peoples.

The persistent U.S. aggression against democratically elected governments in Latin America constitutes irrefutable proof of its illegitimate hegemonic position.

The document rejects the arrogance of the Trump Administration in its attempts to promote military intervention in Latin America, in the service of its ambitions for territorial expansion and political domination over neighboring nations.

He also adds that the actions of the U.S. regime to violate Bolivarian sovereignty constitute a continuation of its official policy of political destabilization and economic suffocation of the entire region.
