South American Beach Volleyball will be held in Maturín

The South American Volleyball Confederation designated Venezuela as host of the South American Beach Volleyball Championship. This was reported by José Manuel Vásquez, governor of Guárico and president of the Venezuelan federation of this sport.
The manager explained during the closing of the first stop of the Venezuelan Beach Volleyball League 2025 (LVVP), held in Monagas last weekend, that the tournament will be held in the capital of the eastern state from August 21 to 31, on the sand courts of the Maturín Sports Center.
This tournament will serve as part of the qualifying process for the Pan American Games and as a preparation for the long road to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028, sports media reported.
