South American foreign ministers meet to establish a joint agenda for the region's prosperity

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, participated this Thursday in the Third Meeting of South American Foreign Ministers, which was held by videoconference, in which the joint agenda for the well-being of the peoples of the region was addressed.
Through his account on the social network X, the foreign minister assured that this is “a space for dialogue and integration between South American nations that aims to establish a joint agenda to promote prosperity, strengthen relationships and promote peace.”
According to information issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, last September 2023, the heads of Foreign Affairs of South American countries met in New York, in the context of the 78th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), where they addressed issues of the common regional agenda and evaluated the fulfillment of the commitments made at a previous meeting in Brazil.
