Sports and recreation are becoming more widespread in Anzoátegui during these Carnivals

During the deployment of the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026, the municipalities of Bolívar and Sotillo in the state of Anzoátegui have enjoyed a large number of activities, in order to expand sports, recreation and social welfare.

The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, highlighted that the agenda in the municipality of Bolívar together with the mayor Sugey Herrera, where they visited the Festival “Laugh Long Live Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland” in the Juana Petrolera Hernández Commune, where they shared with more than 300 boys and girls from the area.

In this regard, Cardillo stressed that these actions are part of a national plan that seeks the territorialization of sports and culture for the enjoyment of the people during the festivities.

In this space, the team organized sports circuits, recreational games and dynamic beach festivals that were transferred directly to the community to guarantee the right to distraction for children.

Later, the activity was transferred to the Sotillo municipality in the company of Mayor Jesús Marcano. The delegation arrived at the José Antonio Anzoátegui Commune to carry out a day of social care and communal recreation.
