Sports Minister announces that the Brígido Iriarte stadium is ready for the pre-Olympic soccer

The Minister of Popular Power for Youth and Sports, Mervin Maldonado, accompanied by the athlete Yulimar Rojas, invited Venezuelans to enjoy the Venezuela 2024 Olympic Football Championship.

From the social network X, the holder of the ministerial portfolio specified that the games will begin this Saturday, January 20 and will run until February 11, at the Brígido Iriarte National Olympic Stadium, located in Caracas, which is now ready to host the event.

“Our queen of Olympic and World sports Yulimar Rojas, from the transformed and reborn Brígido Iriarte National Olympic Stadium, l @s invites tod @s to enjoy the Venezuela 2024 Pre-Olympic Football Championship from this Saturday, January 20 to February 11,” the tweet reads.

The publication is accompanied by a video showing the facilities and the quality of the materials and spaces that have been rehabilitated to accommodate the meetings. In addition, the athlete Yulimar Rojas comments that she “was surprised and amazed by all the recovery work that has been done”.
