Sports, Recreation and Cultural Festival began in Beaches, Parks, Rivers and Resorts

The Bolivarian Government activated the XXVII Sports, Recreational and Cultural Festival in Beaches, Parks, Rivers and Resorts “Holy Week of Peace 2025”, throughout the country.

The activation was carried out by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, who explained that 5,386 recreational players will be deployed across the country, in 150 high-impact points and 512 churches to promote healthy family recreation and enjoyment of the Venezuelan people.

From Hugo Chávez Park, located in La Rinconada, Caracas, Carrillo recalled that during the holidays there will be a deployment of 185,000 security officers to ensure the peace of mind of the Venezuelan people in the national territory.

He also called on the population to contribute to caring for the environment and to enjoy healthy recreation. “Do not consume alcoholic beverages if you are going to drive, do not throw garbage out the window, if you go to beaches and rivers, put your waste in bags and don't leave it,” he asked.

“Recreation is a right of our people and we must take it to all communities, to all our parks, rivers and beaches,” he said.

Carrillo said that there will be cultural and traditional activities in each of the regions. “There will be flash games, recreational activities, face painting in communities,” he added.
