Fourth-grade students from the Dr. Ramón Reinoso Núñez Educational Center, in the state of Mérida, completed the workshop Using Stop Motion as a resource for scientific dissemination, coordinated by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE).
During the day, participants learned to write narratives, create scripts, design scenarios and model figures for animated productions. As a result, they produced the audiovisual film The Earth Needs a Helping Hand, focused on environmental protection and pollination.
As published on the website of the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), the initiative included information sessions on ecology, given by FUNDACITE, and was part of the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, aimed at encouraging interest in science from an early age.
