SUDEBAN: There will be no banking activity on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 April due to Easter holidays

The calendar of the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN), on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 April 2025, the banking sector throughout the country will cease operations due to the commemoration of Holy Week, during these days, branches and bank offices will remain closed.

Given the suspension of activities in the main offices, some financial institutions may keep external ticket offices operational at certain strategic points, such as branches located in shopping centers, to facilitate certain procedures for users.

For more details on the offices and ticket offices available during the holiday, customers are advised to consult the official website of their bank, where they will find up-to-date information on the authorized service points.

Despite the closure of branches, the digital services of banking institutions will remain operational, to allow users to carry out operations such as mobile payments, transfers and other electronic transactions without interruption.

SUDEBAN urges customers to plan their banking operations in advance and to take advantage of digital channels during days of suspension, to ensure the continuity of their financial activities without setbacks.
