This Wednesday, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong-un, began a summit with the objective of promoting strategic alliances in the defense sector between the two countries, in the midst of Moscow's military offensive in Ukraine.
According to information published by the press, President Putin arrived at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang to be honored and greeted by thousands of North Korean citizens.
While the North Korean president, Kim Jong-Un, greeted the Russian leader in the square before starting talks at the KumSusan State Guest House, where they are expected to sign a strategic agreement, the news agencies of both countries added
Putin said that his country highly values Pyongyang's support in the political sphere, and said he hopes that the negotiations will be fruitful. “I am very happy about our new meeting, I hope that the next one will be held in Russia, in Moscow.”
