The Sumud Global Flotilla, a humanitarian mission heading to Gaza to break Israel's nearly two-decade blockade on the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, reported the presence of a large number of drones flying over the boats.

The Global Sumud Flotilla, which has previously been the victim of drone attacks, says they tend to intensify as they approach the Palestinian enclave. Volunteers say that drones are carrying out tasks to monitor and approach the fleet.

The members of the humanitarian group, through social networks, have reported that “multiple drones, whose origin is still unknown, have been sighted near the fleet and following it. This sudden increase in air activity has raised concern.”

“Our teams are closely monitoring the situation, prioritizing the safety of all people on board and coordinating with their partners to document and evaluate these events,” they announce in the same statement.
