SUNAGRO deploys special operation in Aragua

The National Superintendency of Agrifood Management (SUNAGRO) is carrying out a deployment of prosecutors in the municipalities of Girardot, Santiago Mariño, Sucre and José Félix Ribas in the state of Aragua in order to verify the installed and operational capacities of the commercial activity in the entity.

It is a plan that aims to review the technical data sheet, attention and technical support regarding the correct use of the Integral Agrifood Control System (SICA), a technological platform provided by the institution to ensure the proper functioning of the agri-food chain.

The state director of SUNAGRO, Richard Elvira, stated that “these deployments are intended to provide the necessary attention to users, in compliance with the formal duties established in the laws that regulate the matter (...) and the good use of the platform, which allows efficient strategic planning in territorial mobilization, in order to guarantee the agri-food security of the inhabitants of the territory”.
