In a statement, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) categorically rejected the military aggression of the United States (USA) against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.

In this regard, he denounced and demanded from the US government “faith of life of the first national president and his wife”, while reaffirming that this “action constitutes, once again, a flagrant violation of our Constitution, the laws of the Republic and International Law, especially Article 1 and 2 of the Charter of the United Nations, which enshrine respect for Sovereignty, the legal equality of States and the prohibition of the use of force”.

In addition, the Supreme Court reaffirmed “its support for other National Public Powers and especially the Executive Branch in carrying out all legal actions and mechanisms to demand the condemnation of such acts.”
