This Monday, July 22, from San Cristóbal, Táchira state, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, delivered and announced new works for the benefit of the people of Tachira.

The Head of State handed over, fully restored, the San Juan Bautista Church, “a religious and architectural jewel of the city of San Cristóbal, a necessary care for the Catholic people,” he explained.

He also indicated that he supervised the geological fault in the dome of the University of Los Andes (ULA). “It was completely destroyed, it is now operational and must be kept operational,” he said.

Maduro also reported on the installation of machinery in the Simón Bolívar Mining Complex, located in the municipality of Bolívar, “for the production of coal, not only for Táchira and Venezuela but for the world.”

“With the first-class machines, in technology, that have been installed, Táchira will soon be an exporter of coal to Europe and the world,” he said.

In addition, he promised to go to Lobatera, Colón and Coloncito after winning the presidential elections on July 28.
