The candidate of the
Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), Nicolás Maduro, denounced this Monday
that the hegemonic media, allied with the extreme right, intend to hide the
truth of Venezuela, which is evident in the streets with strong
support for the Bolivarian Revolution, ahead of the presidential elections next Sunday, July 28.
“The extreme paramilitary right is afraid of the truth (...) Táchira has the greatest
security it has ever had and the first beneficiaries are those who
live in peace, who no longer kidnap them, who no longer receive vaccines,” said the Bolivarian
leader during a massive rally in San Cristóbal.
He stressed that
when extremism governed the Andean entity, “it governed with Colombian paramilitaries.
And when the hit man killed anyone here in
any town, who supported them? The extreme right,” he criticized.
He recalled that
during the guarimbas driven by extremism, they burned down the
Tachirense neighborhood of Sucre, where they had entire families kidnapped, who do not want actions like that to happen again.
