The rector of the International University of Communications (LAUICOM), Tania Díaz, said that an enormous disproportionate and cruel war propaganda operation has been unleashed in Venezuela, which has succeeded in poisoning a large part of the population.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, she indicated that this war, which carries a burden of feelings that are not typical of Venezuelan society, is mainly aimed at the country's youth, between the ages of 14 and 24.

Díaz pointed out that the country is the laboratory of an enhanced and geolocalized psychological operation, through social networks. At the same time, he indicated that an attempt has been made to generate “a generalized conflict with techniques of emotional and psychological manipulation, through the creation of a kind of collective neurosis”.

In addition, he explained that the application of these propaganda operations has a purpose: “They cloud the capacity for real thinking and emotionality supersedes what you are as a person.”

On the other hand, according to information from LAU ICOM, Díaz emphasized that this is not the first time that revolutionary forces have faced these terrorist actions, a product of hatred generated by sectors of the right, since in his opinion, the revolutionary people were victims of these situations in 2014 and 2017, with the difference that, on this occasion, fascism reached the communities.

For this reason, he pointed out the importance of the vice-presidency for Formation and Ideology of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) becoming the vanguard of the peace army, identifying how this psychological war works, which they intend to impose through social networks and national and international media.

“We are the vanguard of this peace army because we have to target the Sikhis, the minds of that population that was intoxicated with hate speech, and of all that population that was affected by hate speech,” he said.
