Tax exemption for registration of civil and religious associations published in the Official Gazette

As of Friday, March 8, 2024, the fee for the provision of services for the registration of civil associations, non-profit of a religious nature, was exempt from taxes.
This is established by Administrative Order No. 102 of the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (Saren), contained in Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 6,796.
This action in favor of religious institutions, requested before President Nicolás Maduro, complies with the guarantee of the right to freedom of worship recognized in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP) as an organ of the National Executive is responsible for promoting public policies developed to guarantee the free development of the person in religious matters.
