Teachers from 5 states of the country received decent housing

This Thursday, the Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Education, provided housing to 32 teachers from the states of Miranda, Trujillo, Mérida, Sucre and Yaracuy.
Nine brand new homes were allocated in the municipality of Brión, Higuerote, Alamar urban planning. Another 10 houses were delivered in the Sucre municipality of Sabana de Mendoza, urban development in Cristóbal Mendoza, Trujillo.
In Mérida, two new homes were assigned to teachers in the municipality of Caracciolo Parra, Tucaní, Freddy Ascanio urban planning.
In Sucre, in the Altos de Chaguaramos urban development, three were granted and another eight were granted in Yaracuy, in the La Roca de la Ensenada urban development.
According to a press release from the Education portfolio, the provision of homes to teachers is part of the Ministry of Education's Special Social Care Plan to strengthen educational quality in the national territory.
In November 2024, more than 50 homes were given to teachers. On that occasion, Minister Héctor Rodríguez reported that, through the Great Housing Mission Venezuela, 25,000 homes will be delivered to teachers in the country, progressively.
Rodríguez also explained that they established an agreement to prioritize the care of Venezuelan teachers in the construction and rehabilitation of their homes.
