Technicians from the Ministry of Education inspect schools after earthquakes on June 24

Technical teams from the Foundation for Buildings and Educational Endowments (FEDE), an agency attached to the Ministry of Education, are being deployed throughout the country carrying out preventive inspections of the campuses, following the recent earthquakes of last June 24.

This was reported by the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, through his Telegram channel where he stressed that FEDE staff have already verified large parts of the educational structures to ensure safe and optimal spaces for the new academic year 2026-2027.

“We continue to work in the territory by and for our children and young people,” he said.
