The Governor of the state of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán, assured that in the state all the people who are in the temporary camps have already been registered by the Single Housing Registry.

In this regard, he specified that this record is still active in three places: for example, the one in the La Guaira bowling alley we are serving all families in the La Llanada sector, in the Los Corales sector; in the eastern areas of the State, but we also open in the sector of Plaza Tanaguarenas, to serve the whole family in the areas of the Caribbean and Tanaguarena, of the Caraballeda parish that has been considered one of ground zero.”

With regard to the third registration point, he pointed out that it is located in Plaza Bolívar in Catia La Mar, “to serve the residents of the sectors of Atlántida, La Colina, La Avenida el Ejercito (...) Until yesterday (26/07/2026) when we closed the census, a little more than 23 thousand households had been registered; we are talking about more than 75 thousand people”.

He specified that this call should only be attended by “those who have lost their homes, who have been affected in their entirety of their property. This is not a general census, this is a census for people whose homes were completely affected by the earthquake or whose structures were compromised; those are the ones who should go to the registry.”
