Terán: Use of water parks in La Guaira increased 235% during Carnival 2026

The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, reported that the use of water parks in the state increased by 235% during the holidays of Carnival 2026.
During an interview broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Terán noted that the central coast registered 100% beach occupancy, confirming the high influx of seasonal workers in the state's coastal areas.
He also indicated that hotel accommodation grew by 95%, as part of the tourist movement associated with the season.
The governor specified that there is a deployment of two thousand officials from different security agencies to ensure protection and protection for residents and visitors during the operation.
Terán also detailed the aquatic and terrestrial tourist attractions available on the central coast, as well as the cultural and musical program planned for the enjoyment of the population during the holidays.
