Teresa Carreño Theater Youth Ballet received Outstanding Star Award 2026

The youth ballet project at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas won the Outstanding Star award 2026, during a parallel event to the 48th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Busan, South Korea.

The award rewards art, educational innovation and the preservation of the cultural heritage that this emblematic theater represents.

The award, awarded by the International Network of the Association of Innovative Cases of World Heritage Education, distinguishes the National Youth Ballet Training Program as an educational initiative of high patrimonial value.

This recognition enhances the artistic value of the project, its capacity for pedagogical innovation and the safeguarding of the living heritage of the Teresa Carreño Theater.
