The 7th African Knowledge Congress will focus on ecology and climate change

The VII Congress of African Knowledge, which will be held in Caracas from November 27 to 29, will hold presentations that will address various topics, but biology and climate change stand out among the central ones.
This was stated by the specialist with advanced studies in Egypt, Mileidys Contreras, who specified that “there will be papers on the topic of ecology, the development of nations, but in particular we are going to make a paper entitled Ecologism as a sociopolitical phenomenon in Latin America and the Caribbean”.
In addition, a specialist in advanced Caribbean and Insular studies, Samuel García, indicated that the current climate phenomenon and its impact on politics and geopolitics will also be addressed.
He specified that they will set up two working groups with the themes: Challenges and obstacles to overcome for the strengthening of the Global South and Proposals for the strengthening of the Global South.
This activity, which will take place in the spaces of the University of Sciences and Health in Caracas, is organized by the Center for African, American and Caribbean Knowledge, Miranda International Center (CIM), Simon Bolivar Institute for Peace and Solidarity between Peoples (ISB) and the Second Step Foundation for Our America.
It also has the support of the Ministry of People's Power for University Education and the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE).
