The airline Tap Air Portugal started the new Caracas-Madeira-Lisbon route

The new route offers 298 seats, with 34 in business class and 264 in economy class.

The Airline Tap Air Portugal, began operations on its new route C Aracas-Funchal (Madeira) -Lisbon, from Maiquetía's “Simon Bolivar” International Airport, which will allow for the strengthening of tourism and commerce between the two nations.

The information was provided by the Minister of Popular Power for Transport, in his account on the social network X, in which he stated that it is a joint work of this Minister; the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) and the Embassy of Portugal.

It specifies that the new route has an offer of 298 seats with 34 in business class and 264 in economy class.

The frequency of flights during the vacation period of the Caracas-Funchal-Lisbon route will be every Thursday from June 13 to August 15, and Lisbon-Funchal-Caracas from August 15 to October 24, offering a new travel option with attractive destinations, in addition to excellent service.

The Airbus A350-900NE aircraft was not greeted with a traditional water arch by the Aeronautical Fire Department of the Maique Etía International Airport Institute (IAIM), the ribbon was cut at door number 12 of the international terminal, with the presence of the director general of the IAIM, Antonio Rojas Annette and the Portuguese ambassador to Venezuela, Fins Do Lago.

In this regard, the ambassador stressed that this route strengthens the cultural ties of the Portuguese community in Venezuela, of which 80% comes from the province of Madeira.
