The Bolivarian Government completed a bridge over the Onia River in Mérida in record time

After the completion of the works on the structure, carried out by the Bolivarian Government, the vehicle passage was opened across the bridge over the Onia River, which connects the state of Mérida with the state of Táchira.

“Five municipalities in the Venezuelan Andes are now connected, thanks to a project completed in record time: the Onia Bridge, located in the state of Mérida. We're still winning!” , said the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán.

This bridge has a capacity of 400 tons, which will allow the passage of heavy loads.

The governor of the state of Mérida, Jehyson Guzmán, was also present at the opening ceremony.

From Mérida, agricultural products are transported from the Villages of the South and the Pan-American Axis, passing through this point to be transferred to Caracas.
