This Friday, the Bolivarian Government, through the Mayor's Office of Caracas, held a special day of Operation Caracas Smile in the Simón Rodríguez urban planning, in Ciudad Tiuna.

During the day, about 5,000 families, comprising approximately 20,000 inhabitants, were fully served, as reported by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, through her Instagram account.

Meléndez emphasized that the operation was ordered by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, to assist people affected by the attack carried out in the Venezuelan capital last Saturday, January 3.

He also noted that the day was accompanied by 100 health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists and experts in rehabilitation and therapy, who have joined the deployment.

“Medical, veterinary and food care was provided, with special attention to children, older adults and vulnerable people,” Meléndez said.

He also indicated that the team also toured the apartments, house to house and performed group therapy in camps in the area.
