The Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS) and the Caribbean Hydrologic Ministry (HYDROCARIBE) implemented Plan Cayapa in the eastern region with the objective of serving more than 9,000 people.


The president of HIDROCARIBE, engineer Lucas Sapiain, reported that during the plan on the island of Margarita, Nueva Esparta state, sanitation work was carried out on a 16-inch diameter collector, specifically on the main road of the La Isleta I sector, serving more than 8,000 inhabitants of the Macho Muerto Sur, La Isleta 1, Negra Hipólita, El Silguero and the Luisa Cáceres housing estate in Arismendi.


Sapiain also highlighted that the internal 8-inch diameter wastewater collection system was unclogged in the Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi urban development.
