The Bolivarian Government handed over the refurbished Padre Mariano Marianchich Home House in Miranda state

The Bolivarian Government, through the Government of Miranda State, delivered the first phase of recovery of the Padre Mariano Marianchich Home House, located in the El Rosario de Soapire sector, in Paz Castillo municipality.

The award ceremony was led by Governor Elio Serrano, who expressed his gratitude to the first lady of the entity, Eddith Pulido, for leading the necessary efforts to achieve the rehabilitation of the home, in which 12 grandparents and grandmothers from the town will be able to spend the night safely and will have a space for living together, according to a press release from the government of Miranda.

He announced that infrastructure repair work will continue. “From the Government of Miranda, we are committed to starting and completing the second phase of the rehabilitation of this space for Paz Castillo's grandparents.”

He also reported on the upcoming recovery of the Soapire Grandparents Club, with the idea of expanding the range of action of social programs, allowing more older adults in Tuy to have access to spaces for recreation, culture and healthy leisure.
