This Tuesday, January 20, the Sectorial Vice President of Public Services, Jorge Márquez and the Minister of Popular Power for Public Works, Juan Luces, together with the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, traveled the 11.3 kilometers of highway of the A utopian of the East, which have been intervened since November of last year.
This work, announced Márquez, will be completed next June and will be delivered by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, “for the benefit of all the people of the Anzoátegui state”.
He pointed out that this project, backed by the president in charge of Venezuela, includes, in a first phase, the intervention of 11.3 kilometers of road, from Píritu to the Pachaquito indigenous community, a stretch where 14,000 tons of asphalt have already been placed.
For his part, Minister Luces assured that the road constitutes a road connection to make the transport of people and cargo safer, “which is designed for a traffic flow of about 7,000 vehicles per day”, in four traffic channels, with shoulder straps and all road safety measures.
In addition, work is being done on the shaping of the land, emptying concrete and the construction of drainage systems, sewer heads and ditches.
Governor Luis José Marcano highlighted the impact of this route for the economic development of the entire country.
“The impact will be expressed in economic events because the boundaries between Anzoátegui and Guárico are going to shorten the time for agricultural and livestock production to circulate more quickly to the east, as well as the tourist impact that this has, people who move from the center-west of the country to the beaches of the east will be able to arrive in a shorter time,” he explained.
