With the objective of strengthening primary mental health care, the Ministry of Health (MinSalud) held the national conference called “Emotional Detoxification, Stress Management and Sports Activity”, an initiative that brought together 61,760 participants across the country.
The operation was designed to provide practical tools that allow citizens to manage everyday stress and emotional burdens. The activity, according to a press release from the Health portfolio, coincided with the commemoration of the Month for the Fight against Depression and the National Sports Day, directly linking psychological well-being with physical discipline.
The day was held simultaneously in 2,115 establishments that make up the integrated networks of health services, including the communal, specialized and hospital networks. A determining factor in the success of the call was the direct participation of the 406 Integral Community Health Areas (ASIC), which articulated efforts to address health from a comprehensive perspective.
During the deployment, the People's Power, public workers and users of the National Public Health System (SPNS) accessed a program that included: 2,115 emotional detoxification workshops: focused on identifying and releasing negative burdens; 406 workshops on stress management; 2,521 sports spaces
Strategic coverage allowed for direct care in communities. In the state of Barinas, the activity focused on points such as CPT3 Raúl Leoni and December 1st. In the state of Bolívar, the network was activated through the ASIC La Victoria, Los Olivos and the Ave María Sanchera Self-Government Room. On the other hand, in Carabobo, the work at the Pío Tamayo CMP, the 4th Stage Outpatient Clinic and the ASIC Ciudad Alianza and Flor Amarillo stood out. Other points of reference were the ASIC Dr. Andrés Guzmán in Guárico and Ramón Ignacio in Barinas.
