In a display of territorial coordination, the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Freddy Ñáñez, and the Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, took a tour of the Macarao parish, in Caracas.
During the day, the authorities inspected the communal nurseries developed by organized communities, while also evaluating preparations to face the upcoming summer phase throughout the country.
Ñáñez reported that with the activation of the Chuquisaca 2030 Plan, they are committed to actively collaborating in the afforestation of strategic spaces in Macarao.
The strategy not only contemplates the ornamental aspect, but also seeks direct utility for neighbors. In this regard, he stressed that the planting of fruit and medicinal species will be strongly promoted, with the firm objective of promoting preventive health and collective well-being.
He also stressed that these actions respond to high-level strategic planning to strengthen community self-government. “Following the instructions of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, we are creating the necessary bodies to support organized people,” he said.
Ñáñez reaffirmed the Executive's absolute support for grassroots initiatives. “The organized people are carrying out their work, and we will be at their side, accompanying this popular strategic initiative,” he said.
