The Bolivarian Government is making progress in the process of replacing imports in the automotive sector

Authorities from the Ministry of People's Power of Industries and National Production met with representatives of the automotive sector to agree on joint strategies aimed at consolidating an import substitution process, starting with the incorporation of the minimum original material (domestic parts, parts and components) in the motorcycle assembly process.
The meeting, held in compliance with the import substitution project and the promotion of the domestic industry promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, involved economic actors linked to the manufacture of domestic parts, parts and components for motorcycles, according to a press release from the ministerial body.
One of the measures discussed at the meeting was to comply with the agreements signed with the automotive sector, which require them to consume parts and pieces of domestic production.
