The Bolivarian Government of Miranda state is making progress in the
comprehensive rehabilitation of the Dr. Luis Razetti Type I
Hospital, in the municipality of Paz Castillo (Santa Lucía del Tuy), for the benefit of more than 150,000 people.
The governor of the entity, Elio Serrano, who supervised the works, stressed that the
conditioning of the infrastructure and the renovation of the center includes the
adaptation of the emergency service, the recovery of space from trauma
shock for patients with respiratory infection, and general improvements in painting and air conditioning.
It was also known that
preventive and corrective maintenance is also being carried out in pediatric emergency and X-ray rooms, including electrical systems,
luminaires and air conditioning.
Serrano took the opportunity to report on two preventive
public health plans, specifically specifying that the first is to guarantee
annual cytology for all women of reproductive age, seeking the early
detection of cervical cancer. While the second one focuses
on oral health.
Finally, he indicated that the Bolivarian Government has recovered 40 Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers
(CDI) in Miranda.
