The Bolivarian Government, through the Community and Military Brigades (BRICOMILES) and the government of Monagas state, fully rehabilitated the Iraida Rafaela Jiménez School, located in Maturín.
In this regard, Governor Ernesto Luna specified that in the institution they replaced the roof, applied paint to walls and metal structures, adapted the bathrooms, rehabilitated a court, activated the lighting and electrical system and, in addition, equipped it with 140 desks, refrigerator and freezer, among others.
“We are setting up these spaces out of love for our children, who are the future and seedbed of the country, whom I embrace and congratulate, because today, on this campus, smiling, they showed me how happy they are because of how beautiful their second home, which is school, was, and they told me that they wanted to continue studying to become doctors, police officers, teachers, athletes and more, they have already defined their vocation and profile, thanks to the training they receive from their teachers,” said the regional president.
