The Bolivarian Government of Trujillo treats more than 3,000 patients in community pharmacies

During the month of May, the network of Community Pharmacies in the state of Trujillo favored 3,465 patients, with the delivery of 63,619 medicines completely free of charge, through the 15 establishments that exist in the state.
This was announced, through a press release, by the Trujillana Health Foundation (FUNDASALUD), which explained that in the month of May, 2,587 acute patients were favored with the supply of 26,771 medications. In addition, 712 chronic patients were treated with the free allocation of 31,668 drugs; as well as 83 pregnant women with 4,509 medications and 187 insulin-dependent patients with the delivery of 5,680 insulins.
The FUNDASALUD team captures these patients in the consultations carried out in the 14 Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), located in the municipalities of Boconó, Bolívar, Candelaria, Carache, Escuque, Juan Vicente Campo Elías, Miranda, Pampán, Rafael Rangel, San Rafael de Carvajal, Sucre, Trujillo, Urdaneta and Valera.
In addition, in the 15 Community Pharmacies that exist in the state of Trujillo, patients receive medications to treat diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, bronchial asthma, hyperthyroidism, and epilepsy. Also in these establishments, drugs are assigned to treat acute diseases with antibiotics, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and others.
